Admission process

The admission process for a Master at ISM consists of preparing a case study presentation and an online interview with the program director. You will present your results of the case study in an oral presentation on the day of the admission interview.

1. Case study presentation

After registering online for an admission test and uploding all available documents, prior to your "admission test" day you will have to prepare a?case study presentation?that you will also have to upload online before the interview.

The case study presentation can include: presenting the main results/summary of your Bachelor's thesis?or?of an extensive term paper you particularly liked or?- alternatively – can be on a predefined case study topic that our study advisors will send you in advance.

You will receive an email with exact instructions on the requirements of the case study from us after you've registered online for admission.

2. Online interview & case study presentation

You will receive an email confirming your admission test day on which you will have an?interview with the study program director.?The goal of this interview is to get to know you and your personal background better. We look forward to getting to learn about your professional and personal goals and your motivation for your postgraduate studies in Germany.

All you need to do is rehearse you presentation and show up on time for the online interview. Once you've had your interview, you await the admission committee's decision, which usually only takes just a few days.

Then you will receive a study contract, sign and return it, and be able to start the visa process or enrollment at ISM.
